COVID-19 Pandemic: What We Need to Know as Obstetric and Women's Health Providers

Course Description

This course addresses updates about the global, national, state and regional impact of COVID 19. The presentation further addresses the impact of this pandemic on women's health and the potential perinatal impact on the fetus and newborn.

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational goals of physicians and other healthcare professionals specializing in obstectrics, gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, infectious diseases, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and all those involved with the management of patients with the coronavirus.

  • To provide attendees updates on the global, national, state and regional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • To educate attendees regarding impact of COVID-19 pandemic on women's health
  • To gain an appreciation for the potential perinatal impact of COVID-19 on the fetus and newborn
