With symptoms often being mistaken for a number of viral illnesses UT Health San Antonio's allergy and immunology specialist, Edward Brooks, M.D., explains what Cedar "fever" really is and how to recognize and treat the signs and symptoms of these allergy issues in a recent article with MYSA.

Edward Brooks, M.D., received his medical training at Texas Tech University and Harvard University. Brooks is a frequent speaker and consultant on airway inflammation caused by bacteria and air pollution as they relate to asthma. He actively investigates new drug targets for asthma treatment, and has written over 50 journal articles, book chapters, and reviews in immunology.
